1999 BMW Z3M Coupe 3.2L Petrol Manual

£25,995.00

When the word 'skunkworks' is attached to a car, you know you're in for an automotive delicacy. It usually means an engineering passion project too unorthodox for mainstream backing. And that's the case with the BMW Z3 M - it's an unbridled, rewarding and rare sports car that delivers an unforgettable drive.

Developed in secret by BMW's M division - because the BMW higher-ups didn't crave such a car - the Z3 M was eventually given the green light. Circa 21k Z3Ms were produced of which just over 6k units were coupes. They are a rare beast.

This example features some extra bits which are rather tasty. Carbon AC Schnitzer front splitter, AC Schnitzer rear spoiler and rear diffuser. These parts set back the owner over £1500. The car also sits on a performance suspension set up meaning this Z3M is a seriously sharp handling tool especially when a full set of new Continental tyres are keeping you on the road.

The car comes with a huge wad of invoices, the previous owners have clearly been enthusiasts.

Recent works include clutch overhaul (dual mass, slave, clutch rebuild kit) EBC discs and pads, Caliper restoration, air con compressor, rocker cover gasket, rocker cover restoration and plenty more bits and bobs.

The service book boasts 14 stamps in the book - most recent service was by Tudor black Coachworks in December 2024.

Current mileage of 93k.

2x keys.

Manuals present.

The spec is lovely and oh boy is it rare. Imola red over a two tone black and red interior. This is offset by those Smokey grey deep dish alloys. Bloody lovely.

She also has heated seats, dog guard/parcel shelf, air con and a gorgeous stitched leather dash.

If you're after an enthralling driving experience with an intoxicating 6 cylinder howl. The Z3M coupe could well be the car for you. With low production numbers and quirky clown show looks, values can only go one way. It's a lot more fun than money in the bank ;)
